Match the Kit to Your Booth
Every exhibitor’s list looks a little different. Here’s a starting point you can mix and match before you request a quote.
- Startup or small booth: iPads for product demonstrations, an iPhone scanning badges, a laptop or two for demos, and a hotspot. Light footprint, nothing to build on-site.
- Standard booth: iPads for product demonstrations, an iPhone scanning badges, laptops for demo stations, a display or touchscreen, and dedicated internet sized to your foot traffic.
- Large booth or activation: More devices across several stations, multiple screens, POS if you’re transacting, bonded connectivity for the load, and spare devices on standby.
- Meeting room or show office: Laptops, a monitor or two, a printer, and a private network for any press appointments and partner meetings you run off the main floor.

Why CES Equipment Rentals Have to Be Booked Early
CES 2027 runs January 6–9, and that early-January slot creates a booking problem unique to this show
- The holiday collision: Anything bound for an early-January floor has to be configured, staged, and shipped in late December, exactly when carriers are slammed, and half the business world is out for the holidays.
- Advance-order cutoffs: The venue’s exhibitor service kits carry deadlines that land weeks ahead of move-in, and the rates climb once they pass. We break that down in our Las Vegas Convention Center rental guide.
- Everyone needs the same gear at once: CES packs a staggering number of exhibitors into one week, all reaching for the same iPads, laptops, and connectivity.
What to do about it? Lock in your device counts early, well before that December window closes, and leave yourself a little buffer for any spec changes that come up.

Book as early as you can for the big ones, CES, NAB, SEMA, since inventory tightens fast in peak weeks. Generally, 1-2 weeks before the event is ideal. Rates for the venue’s own service kits also increase after the advance-order cutoff, so early booking saves money too.
Book as early as you can. The late-December build-and-ship window is tight because of the holidays, venue service-kit deadlines raise rates once they pass, and every exhibitor is chasing the same gear that week.
Yes, preconfiguration is the standard. We install your apps and test each device before it ships, so your booth is live the moment you power up.
Yes. We coordinate delivery to your receiving point and booth on your move-in schedule, with optional on-site setup. For remote or outdoor exhibit space, we can also run satellite internet.
It depends on your device count and what those devices are doing. A few tablets running lead capture need far less connectivity than a booth streaming demos or processing sales.
